Cardinals Fall Hard in Heppner

HEPPNER, Ore. - The Waitsburg-Prescott football team was no match for the Heppner Mustangs on Friday, as the Cardinals took a big loss, 45-7.
After running back/ linebacker Chance Leroue went out with a knee injury (which he also injured the week before) in the first quarter, Heppner scored 31 unanswered points in the second quarter and took a 38-0 lead into halftime. WP starters Owen Lanning and Danny Stansell also went out in the second quarter with injuries.
