PRESCOTT - They might have had the home court, but WP wrestlers didn't have the advantage at Wednesday's meet against Pomeroy in Prescott. The Pi­rates walked away with wins in every match.

Adding insult to injury (or maybe the other way around), WP wrestler Kavin Kuykendall sustained a bro­ken collarbone, ending his season.

WP Coach Lanny Adams said Pomeroy came, "ready to wrestle and it showed." He attributed some of his team's weak performance to the fact that it had been nearly two weeks since their last match.
