WP Girls Hit the Court

The Lady Cards basketball team posed for a group shot at a recent practice. (l to r): Hannah Grant, Paige Wood, Heidi Miller, Analise Salazar, Samantha Federson, Chelsey Brannock, Kassidy Kuykendall, Emily Wilson, Enedina Fuentes, Loegan Harsh­man and Coach Brittany Ayers-Stamper. The girls had a rough opening weekend, losing to Sunnyside 77-26 on Friday and losing again 61-20 to Pomeroy on Saturday. High scorers for Friday's game were Bran­nock with 9 points and Fuentes with 7. On Saturday, Fuentes was the high scorer with 8 points, followed by Brannock with 5 and Federson with 4.
