DAYTON - The Dayton Bulldogs kept Friday night's homecoming game close in the first half, but couldn't overcome a more experienced Tri-Cities Prep team, losing 27-0.

Dayton's defense held the Jaguars to one touchdown in the first half and ended the half with a valiant goal-line stand. But after quarterback Christian Warner gave up three interceptions, the bulldogs lost control of the game in the second half.

Warner had no completions, but the 'dogs had a balanced running attack, with Warner, Lowden Smith, Ben Kleck and Guy Spalinger all getting solid rushing yardage.

Dayton faces Riverside Friday at home.
