Waitsburg Livestock Show and Fair

The Waitsburg Junior Livestock Show and Fair will take place on June 8th and 9th at the Waitsburg Fairgrounds. On Saturday, June 8th, judging contests will take place in the morning, followed by showmanship and confirma- tion for swine, sheep, beef, and poultry classes. On Sat- urday the applied arts build- ing is open with a multitude of photos, posters, clothing projects, baking and crafts. This year there will be open classes for everyone to par- ticipate.

On Sunday, June 9th, the rabbit show begins at 9:00 a.m. and dog show at 10:00 a.m. The Waitsburg Lions cook shack is open both days. FFA members from Walla Walla and Columbia counties participate in the show. Over 100 youth were involved in last years' show with more than 250 entries.

The Waitsburg Live- stock Show and Fair cel- ebrated 59 years this year. Hundreds of volunteer hours, community support and do- nations have made this event a continuing success. We hope we can count on your support this year to help us provide premiums and prizes for our youth.
