The city of Dayton alley cleanup will happen June 10 and starts on the north end of town, working south.

All materials picked up must be compostable: Gar- den waste, vines, shrubs and tree trimmings, tree and shrub trimmings must not be larger than 2.5 inches across at the largest end that’s about the size of the end of a pop can.

Materials such as grass clippings, sod with dirt, rocks, bricks and garbage will not be picked up.

City crews will only come by once for pickup.

There will be a time limit of 15 minutes per stop. Any items remaining after 15 minutes will be the responsibility of the resident and or property owner to dispose of.
