Records Broken at “Barrel Daze”

 


The Valley Girls Barrel Racing Association com- petes and promotes barrel racing in the Walla Walla area. Recently the group put on the 35th annual "Bar- rel Daze," held April 12-14 at the Walla Walla County Fairgrounds.

Nearly 1,300 contestants from all over the U.S. and Canada took part in "Barrel Daze." Contestants com- peted for $216,020 in cash and awards.

Kelsie Miller from Riley, OR was the high money winner with $14,713.50. She and Bridle Bit Riley ran the fastest time of the weekend.
