Starbuck Students Of The Month

April 26, 2012

Cameren Mings has been named the Starbuck Elementary School Student of the Month for March! Cameren has shown himself to be a great student and a hard working individual. He is a third grader in Starbuck, and this is his second year with the school. In class, Cameren is constantly working hard and learning a lot. His windy cool rod science project was very well put together, and he was one of the first to cross the finish line. Cameren is starting to memorize his multiplication facts, and his cursive writing improves every day. Cameren is helpful at school as well. He respects his classroom and fellow students, and cleans up after himself and others. He is often playing with the younger students and helps with the preschoolers on Thursdays.

In the upper grades, Kaleigh White is March's Student of the Month. Kaleigh is a fifth grader and is doing quite well. She excels in all she does in and out of the classroom. She is always happy, energetic and helpful to others. Kaleigh is a wonderful student. She has straight As. She puts much effort into her assignments and without complaint. She does well in math, as she is a whole grade level ahead, and is an excellent reader, when she has time. She is willing to help others and works hard.

But Kaleigh is not only a good student; she is also very active outside of school as well. Kaleigh works well with others, but has a competitive side. This can be seen on the basketball court, the soccer field, softball field or zinging down the slopes at Bluewood.

Kaleigh is also the next great barrel racer with her horse, Healy. She can be seen at the Walla Walla Fairgrounds this year.
