DAYTON - Columbia County Sheriff Department and Blue Mountain Counseling, in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration, are sponsoring a Columbia County Drug Take Back Day on Sept. 25. The Columbia County collection site will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Sheriff Department, on the ground floor of the courthouse. Deputy Jeff Jenkins will be on site to accept unwanted and unused pharmaceutical drugs, including prescription medications.
