DAYTON - A convicted, level 3 sex offender who has previously lived in Waitsburg and Walla Walla has moved to Dayton. Jason Jan Lujan, 31, now resides in the 700 block of Richmond Avenue in Dayton. WAITSBURG - The Waitsburg City Council last week passed an ordinance that created a transportation benefit district and also passed a resolution to put a sales tax increase to benefit this new district on the April Special Election ballot. DAYTON - Glenn Dennison, arrested last week for attempted burglary and burglary of four Dayton businesses Feb. 11, plead not guilty last Thursday to his charges. Dennison is charged with burglary in the second degree, attempted burglary, theft in the third degree, malicious mischief and criminal trespass. DAYTON - Dayton resident Skyler Glasby, 23, is being held in Umatilla County after being arrested following a 20-minute car chase with police over state lines into Oregon on Feb. 17. The wheat futures market has bounced off of a range high last week and moved lower since Feb. 6, as Chicago has trimmed 26 cents from the week-ago level of $6.70.
