DAYTON – The Touchet Valley Golf Course's annual leagues are under way as the summer draws nearer. The greens are looking great, and it is shaping up to be a good course for those looking to hit the links this summer. CHENEY – Waitsburg and Dayton finished their track campaigns this weekend in Cheney at the State 2B Track & Field Championships. Waitsburg had nine athletes compete in the year's final meet, while Dayton had three of their own take part over the weekend. WAITSBURG - Waitsburg Track & Field athlete Emily Adams was named WIAA Athlete of the Week last week. Adams was nominated for winning four first-place finishes at her district track meet on May 11. DAYTON – Skyline Adventures, a local youth-oriented nonprofit organization received a grant last week from the Pacificorp Foundation for $2,000 for youth recreation scholarships. PRESCOTT – Kyle Gradwohl and Jacob Dunn pitched a combined two-hitter against Riverside on April 26, as the Prescott Tigers downed the Pirates 11-1 in a shortened six-inning game.
