WAITSBURG – Four Touchet Valley athletes have qualified for the Pasco Invite, which will be held Saturday at Edgar Brown Stadium. The meet will feature more than 2,000 top track and field athletes from more than 100 high schools of all sizes throughout Washington and Northern Idaho. WAITSBURG - Waitsburg High School senior Owen Lanning was named one of twelve Athletes of the week earlier this month by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association for his performance in track and field. WAITSBURG – Waitsburg High School senior Chance Leroue has been selected to play in the All State football game in Yakima on June 20. Several Waitsburg athletes have gotten to play in the event, including Zach Bartlow. The last to play in the All State game was Dalton Estes in 2013. Leroue will be selling tickets to the game as part of his fundraising efforts to offset the cost of attending. Tickets are $6 each.
