    DAYTON—Dayton voters are being asked to consider two levy measures on their February 11th ballots. The District is running an Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) Levy and a Capital Technology & Facilities Levy. The measures are not new taxes. They will replace expiring levies approved by voters in 2016. If approved by voters, levy funds will continue to be used to maintain educational programs and facility expenses in Dayton schools not fully funded by the state.     DAYTON—The Columbia County Hospital (CCHS) Board of Commissioners heard a bit of good financial news at their December meeting. The Finance Committee received an adjustment letter from their Medicare intermediary, Noridian, saying CCHS owes Medicare $833,000.00, an amount considerably less than the 1.5 million that was originally thought.     DAYTON—Columbia County Health System CEO Shane McGuire said CCHS will be able to provide dental services to Medicaid patients by the end of the year 2020. McGuire said dentists in private practice find it challenging to provide care to Medicaid beneficiaries because the low reimbursement rates don’t cover their costs.     The Dayton School Board gave a big thumbs up Wednesday night at their monthly meeting to approving the indefinite union of the Dayton-Waitsburg grades 7-12 combined athletic endeavors in all sports.
