WAITSBURG - The after school Kids' Bluegrass Club will begin meeting at 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17 in the high school band room. Kids from 4th grade through high school are welcome to join. The group will meet Wednesday afternoons in September and October. Bluegrass music is traditionally played on guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass and fiddle. WAITSBURG - Discussion at the August 20 City Council meeting resulted in a decision to modify the municipal code update approved in May that allowed only licensed monument companies to set headstones in City cemeteries.
