WAITSBURG – The Waitsburg School District is seeking voter approval for a $3.8 million capital improvement bond. If approved, the bond funds would be used for three projects. The first is upgrading the HVAC system in all three schools, including adding air conditioning to the elementary school. The projected cost for this project is between $2.4 million and $2.9 million. WAITSBURG – An ordinance regulating the use of all-terrain vehicles on Waitsburg streets was rejected at the city’s Oct. 12 council meeting in order to let state statutes prevail. DAYTON-Alicia Walker has accomplished everything she is required to do, and more, in order to open the doors to a new restaurant in Dayton by the end of October or the beginning of November.
