CWWFD#2 to hold a Fire Safe Meeting on June 25

WAITSBURG —The Columbia Walla Walla Fire District #2 is hosting its annual Firewise meeting on Thursdy, June 25, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m at the fire station on 232 Main Street in Waitsburg.

The meeting will focus on issues the FireDistrict #2 will face in the upcoming fire season. Topics will include preparation for the fire season, defensive space, and becoming aquainted with local and regional fire response partners.

 CWWDF#2 Fire Chief Matt Spring, representitives from the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, U.S. National Forest Service, and Columbia Coiunty Dispatch will make presentatons and be available to for questions.
