Memorial Day service at Waitsburg City Cemetery at 11 a.m.

WAITSBURG - The Waitsburg Memorial Day Service sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 35, will be held at the City Cemetery on Monday, May 25, at 11 a.m.

Five veterans who passed away this year will be added to the Waitsburg Memorial Wall later this year. They are Donald Elder, Michael Greer, William Hinchliffe, Jack McCaw, and Robert Rickel.

The auxiliary asks for volunteers to help place crosses and flags at the cemetery on Saturday, May 23, at 8 a.m.

Volunteer on Saturday at 8 a.m. to help prepare the Waitsburg City Cemetery for Monday’s service.
