Douglas Venn retires from Prescott Joint Parks & Recreaton Board

PRESCOTT — Douglas Venn is retiring from the Prescott Joint Parks & Recreation board effective on December 31, 2025. For 15 years, he has served as commissioner, championing Prescott’s pool and Fairview Parks.

Venn held various positions on the board, including Vice-chairman and Chairman. He has worked effectively with the board, staff, and community to ensure public access to safe and fun recreational facilities.

Judy Kettering was elected as Commissioner for Position #2, formerly held by Chuck Carruthers. With Doug Venn’s retirement, the board is recruiting a replacement for his position.
