“A Christmas Carol”

DAYTON — Tickets are on sale now for the Liberty Theater 2025 Fall Production, “A Christmas Carol.” There will be 14 performances between November 13 and December 6.

Rehearsals are in the final stages for “A Christmas Carol,” which combines the classic of the same title by Charles Dickens, published in 1843, and the short story, “The Gift of the Magi,” published by O. Henry in 1905. Woven together, these two stories become one tale, in which the hard-hearted Ebenezer Scrooge is confronted with the choice between a self-imposed hell and a redeeming, selfless love. The strength of charity, mercy, forbearance, and benevolence is the focus of this reimagined stage play, written by Mike Ferrians and Brenda Henderson, who have also collaborated on creating new music and lyrics to help bring the story to life. Touchet Valley Arts Council Productions presents the production. Directed by Mike Ferrians and Brenda Henderson.

You can purchase your tickets online on our website, libertytheater.org, or at the box office on Tuesdays. & Fri. between 2 and 5 p.m. or call (509) 382-1380.

There will be no movies from Nov 4 to 11 during rehearsals. The live production of “A Christmas Carol” will show from Nov. 13 to Dec.6.
