First annual Royal Block Party

Waitsburg - A busy weekend in Waitsburg included an all-ages block party, the Lions Club Salmon Feed, and the Waitsburg Historical Society Fall Festival.

The first annual Royal Block Party was held in the alley behind the hotel, Ten Ton Studios, Plaza Theater, and Wolfling Coffee. There was food, music, alley bowling, and ring toss from 5 until after 9 p.m.

Press Room owner Suze Wood brought the carnival vibe to the alley with a ring toss game.

Wolfling Coffee opened its back door for in-progress shop tours and a chance to meet owners Caitlyn Potts and Trevor Corbin. Next door, Whisky C owners Corben Ketelsen and Tommy Long hosted food and an alley-bowling-alley. Suze Wood, owner of The Press Room, gave carnival vibes with a ring toss to win drink cards, Pott's pottery, and other fabulous prizes. Red Bird offered bouquets of flowers and shrubs to drink.

What's an alley without a bowling ball? Thanks to Corben Ketelsen, we can live the dream.
