Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley

Nonprofit registration for the 2025 Valley Giving Guide Sept 15 to Oct 15

WALLA WALLA — Blue Mountain Community Foundation, in partnership with United Way of the Blue Mountains, invites eligible organizations from Walla Walla, Columbia, Garfield, and Umatilla counties to register for the 2025 Valley Giving Guide. Registration will be open from September 15 through October 15, 2025.

From December 2 to 31, the Valley Giving Guide is a print and online platform where nonprofits can introduce their organizations to potential donors. A secure website will allow donors to choose one or multiple organizations to support in a single transaction. Thanks to generous sponsors, a bonus pool will boost every gift made during the event.

The print edition of the Valley Giving Guide will be included in local newspapers published Thanksgiving week, and a flier will be mailed to every household.

“The Valley Giving Guide is a win-win-win,” said Kol Medina, CEO of Blue Mountain Community Foundation. “Donors have an easy way to give and have bonus bucks added to their donation; nonprofits get to work together to raise more money for themselves; and the community overall benefits from the work of our dedicated nonprofits.”

Participation in the Valley Giving Guide is free for nonprofits. Bonus pool prizes and matching funds are also available for participating organizations. Applicants must be a registered 501(c)3, church, or public agency, or work with an eligible fiscal sponsor.

Eligible nonprofits can register online at www.valleygivingguide.org. For questions or further information, contact Kate Morrison at kate@bluemountainfoundation.org or 509-529-4371.

Businesses interested in sponsoring are encouraged to contact Kate Morrison at kate@bluemountainfoundation.org or 509-529-4371.
