Waitsburg FFA officers announced for 2025-26

WAITSBURG - The FFA Waitsburg Chapter officers for the 2025–2026 school year were announced at the Future Farmers of America end-of-the-year banquet.

Sarah Daves will lead the group as chapter president.

"I am incredibly honored and excited to be the newly elected President of the Waitsburg FFA Chapter," said Daves. "This opportunity means the world to me, and I am grateful for the trust placed in me."

Daves would like her peers to know that this chapter is yours! Her goal as President is to make sure every single one of the members feels welcomed, involved, and proud to wear the blue jacket, as she is looking forward to working with each member.

"Whether you are enthusiastic about public speaking, livestock, ag mechanics, or simply making new friends, there is a place for you here.  Each of us brings something different to the table, and I believe that together, we will lead with strength, creativity, and unity," said Daves

Daves wants to thank Mrs. Abel and other FFA supporters for the guidance, time, and belief in everyone in FFA; you help make everything we do possible.

Daves said "Let us make this year one of growth, fun, service, and success. I am excited for what is ahead, and I cannot wait to lead, learn, and grow with all of you."

Joining Daves is Kayla Mikesell as vice-president, Sara Wilson as secretary, Emerson Underwood as reporter, Olivia Duncan as treasure, and Makaelyn Mikesell as sentinel.
