At the Liberty:" The Best Christmas Pageant Ever"

WAITSBURG — Based on the beloved book, "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" centers on the Herdmans -- absolutely the worst kids in the history of the world. But this Christmas, they’re taking over their local church Pageant -- and they just might unwittingly teach a shocked community the true meaning of Christmas. The cast includes Lauren Graham, Judy Greer, and Pete Holmes.

The Rotten Tomatoes critics’ consensus says, “Decking the halls with unflappable charm and sincere spiritual conviction, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is winningly wholesome family entertainment.” Critics on that website rate this movie 91% favorable, and the audience gives it a very positive 97%. This movie is rated PG for thematic material and brief underage smoking. Its runtime is 99 minutes.

There has been a change in our movie lineup starting December 13 with “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" on December 20 – 29, and “MOANA 2” for two consecutive weekends. There will be NO Tuesday movie on December 24, a special New Year's event December 31, and the movie “WICKED” on January 3-7.
