Catch the Fly Fishing Film Tour in Walla Walla on Oct. 19

WALLA WALLA — The Washington Water Trust will host a benefit screening of the Fly Fishing Film Tour at Gesa Power House Theatre in Walla Walla on Saturday, October 19. The event will feature films, a silent auction with items from local businesses, and a raffle for outdoor gear.

Proceeds from the event will help restore flows to local rivers and streams, including the Walla Walla River, Touchet River, and Mill Creek. Tickets are available online now and at the theatre on Oct. 19 after 5 p.m.

The Fly Fishing Film Tour brings fly fishing content to theaters while building community. This year includes nine films from around the world, including an exploration of the Costa Marlin Project in Mexico, a search for peacock bass in the Amazon, and a journey in Washington’s waters with a local steelhead guide.

The tour aims to connect local fly fishers while educating and supporting WWT conservation efforts. F3T 2024 is sponsored by Costa Sunglasses and technical apparel company Skwala.

Washington Water Trust focuses on the key element that makes a stream a stream: the water. The trust works with farmers, landowners, government agencies, Tribes, nonprofits, businesses, and others to find solutions for low flows in Walla Walla streams and beyond. WWT projects keep more than 5.7 billion gallons of restored water flowing across Washington annually.
