WAITSBURG-Spring football is going strong at Waitsburg High School. The players have been preparing to attend a football camp at Eastern Oregon University, June 16–19. Waitsburg athletes attended the EOU camp last year, and Cardinal Coach Gabe Kiefel said the boys will again match up with other 8-man football teams this year.
On May 31, Coach Kiefel, his staff, and high school football players held a one-day football camp for elementary and middle school students where athletes participated in drills, learned skills, and played a friendly game of flag football....
