DAYTON — “IF” is about a girl who discovers that she can see everyone’s imaginary friends — and what she does with that superpower — as she embarks on a magical adventure to reconnect forgotten IFs with their kids. “IF” is from writer and director John Krasinski, stars Ryan Reynolds, John Krasinski, Cailey Fleming, Fiona Shaw, and the voices of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr. and Steve Carell alongside many more as the wonderfully unique characters that reflect the incredible power of a child’s imagination.

Rotten Tomatoes critics did not particularly care for this movie (49% tomatometer), but audiences liked it (88%). IMDb gave this a 6.4 out of 10 rating. This movie is rated PG for thematic elements and mild language. It has a runtime of 104 minutes.

Notice: tickets are now on sale for the live production of “The Odd Couple” (female version) at the theater and its website. Performances will be June 21, 22 and 23, directed by Dave Campbell. Starring in this play are locally well-known Elizabeth Arebalos-Jagelski and Deanna Tipton who have combined forces to turn the tables on the ever-popular Neil Simon play and create a highly enjoyable and buoyant comedy rich in rewarding laughter, but touching upon the bonds that create friendships.
