Waitsburg, Prescott, and Dayton track team athletes qualify for State

WAITSBURG - Reuben Yutzy will compete in three events at the State Track meet at Eisenhower High School in Yakima. The three-day event starts on Thursday, May 23, and ends with finals on Saturday, May 25.

Yutzy placed second in the shot put with a PR of 45'9" at Regionals on May 18 and he jumped 5'8" in the high jump event for a third-place finish. Yutzy was the anchor on the 4x100 relay which placed fifth.

Brenton Segraves, Blake French and Teegan Kenney will attend State competing with Yutzy in the relay. Segraves will also compete at State in the shot put as he placed fifth with a PR of 37'...
