DAYTON—”Wish” is a new musical-comedy by Disney Animation Studios welcoming audiences to the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force: a little ball of boundless energy called Star.

The Rotten Tomatoes website audience says “If you’re looking for a beautifully animated movie with fun characters and memorable songs, Wish delivers.” Critics there rated this movie 49% favorable, but the audiences gave it an 81% favorable rating. This movie is PG (for thematic elements and mild action), and it has a runtime of 95 minutes.
