Columbia County Health System wishes a happy retirement to Dr.s Lewis and Gwynneth Neace, Dedicated Physicians
DAYTON - Columbia County Health System announced the retirement of esteemed doctors Dr. Gwynneth Neace, a board-certified pediatrician, and Dr. Lewis Neace, a board-certified emergency medicine physician. The two talented physicians chose to come home in 2016 to lend their considerable skills to the communities they love. Giving back to the towns where they were raised has been the capstone of their accomplished medical careers. After eight years of devoted service, they have decided to retire.
Throughout their time at Columbia County Health System, Dr. Gwynneth Neace and Dr. Lewis Neace have touched the lives of countless patients and families in the community. Their dedication and expertise have significantly impacted the well-being of those they have cared for and have elevated the quality of the care provided by the Health System.
Starting January 1, 2024, Dr. Lewis Neace will no longer be on the Emergency Department schedule. However, he will remain involved in a supportive capacity for the hospital and EMS on an administrative level, helping as needed.
Dr. Gwynneth Neace will continue serving patients in the clinic until March 1, 2024, allowing for a smooth transition to other providers. Both Doctors have expressed a willingness to help out when and where needed and will maintain their physician credentials.
Expressing her gratitude, Dr. Gwynneth Neace said, "This decision has not been easy, and I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all of you for your unwavering support throughout the years."
Columbia County Health System is immensely grateful for the exceptional service rendered by Dr. Gwynneth Neace and Dr. Lewis Neace. The hospital extends its warmest wishes to them as they embark on a well-deserved retirement from regular work.
