WAITSBURG - The middle school football team got their third win of the season with a 50-6 win over Touchet on the Cardinal field on October 5.
The middle school football team got their third win of the season with a 50-6 win over Touchet on the Cardinal field on October 5.
Jake Lynch and Uriah York each intercepted a pass during the first quarter of play. Lynch had some nice catches for yardage and, on defense, had seven tackles. York finished the game with three catches and one touchdown.
Liam Kiefel had another solid game as quarterback, passing for 294 yards, rushing for 108 yards and scoring a touchdown.
Sawyer Harshman rushed for 140 yards, Alex Zuniga scored two touchdowns, and Juca Beckman forced a fumble and had five tackles.
The Cardinals play St. John Endicott on Thursday, October 12, at 4:30 p.m. Come watch them in action.
