An Evening Event at Mountain View Cemetery

WALLA WALLA—Walla Walla Parks and Recreation and Mountain View Cemetery will present a historical twilight tour of little-known tales on Saturday, August 19, 6-8 p.m.

Tour participants will learn about people interred at the cemetery who made unusual choices in life, including professions, sacrifices for their country or others, life-altering decisions, or how they chose to leave this world on their terms. The fast-paced tour will cover much of the 80-acre facility, visiting approximately 28 burial sites, and includes several in-character presenters.

This special event is free but requires pre-registration at http://www.wwpr.us

Registration opens on Monday, July 31, and is limited to 40 participants. The event is free; however, attendees are encouraged to bring donations for the Blue Mountain Humane Society. The BMHS wish list can be found on their website at https://bluemountainhumane.org/wish-list.
