DAYTON ­­­— “The Super Mario Brothers Movie” is a new animated film based on the world of Super Mario Bros. The storyline for this movie from the IMDb website is that “a Brooklyn Plumber named Mario, travels through the Mushroom Kingdom with a Princess named Peach and an Anthropomorphic Mushroom named Toad to find Mario’s Brother, Luigi, and to save the world from a ruthless fire breathing Koopa named Bowser.” The Rotten Tomatoes website critics gave this movie a 59% favorable, but their audiences gave it a 96%. The movie is rated PG for action and mild violence. It has a run time of 92 minutes, and it will run for two weeks (through May 9).

The Liberty Theater will continue to show movies while we remodel the balcony, but the balcony will be closed from April 24th through most of May for construction.
