DW COMBINE-Mike McGhan has been coaching high school golf since 2006. This year the team has one returning and four first-year golfers. He looks forward to seeing the kids improve each week as they work hard.
Junior Cayle Davis is the veteran on the team, and sophomore William Daves is a first-year player. Though new to the team, freshman Carson Potter has some experience golfing with family and attended the summer program at the Touchet Valley Golf Course. Junior Opal Hair-Morin and freshman Sarah Daves have never touched a club. And are getting better at putting, chipping, and driving every day.
The Wolfpack golfers have back-to-back matches coming up. On Wednesday, March 22, they will play at Wine Valley Golf Club in Walla Walla. They will tee off on Thursday, March 23, at the Walla Walla Country Club.
