Hometown Christmas comes to Waitsburg December 3 & 4

December 1, 2022

Lane Gwinn

Thanks to Walla Walla Electric and Jared Hunt for delivering and lighting the city's tree.

WAITSBURG-Thanksgiving is over, and Christmas decorations can come out of storage.

The big tree is in place with lights, ready for the Waitsburg Elementary School students to bring their decorations.

The FFA has delivered the little evergreens to the Main Street sidewalks. Each year, business owners, public groups, and families purchase the trees to decorate for awards announced at Hometown Christmas.

The CCWWFD2 put up the garland and lights on the Main Street Light posts. And the holiday banners are in place. Everything is almost ready for this year's Lighted Parade. Happy Holidays.

Santa will be back at Ten Ton Coffee on Sunday, Dec. 4 from noon to 4 p.m.
