DAYTON—Father Stu (Mark Walberg) is based on the true-life story of a boxer-turned-priest, Father Stuart Long. He has a self-destructive lifestyle and a severe motorcycle accident that forces him to change his life to help himself and others. The real Father Stu served in Helena Montana until his death.
