DCH announces two additional COVID-19 related deaths

WALLA WALLA— Walla Walla County Department of Community Health confirmed two COVID-19-related deaths this week. County health officials were notified that a man in his 30s and a man in his 70s, that tested positive for COVID-19, passed away. DCH offers their sincere thoughts and heartfelt condolences to the individuals’ families and friends during this difficult time.

Case Overview (as of 11/23/21 @ 8:30 AM):

• Confirmed Cases: 9,322

• Recovered: 9,002

• Deaths: 111

• Active: 211 (includes 0 WSP inmate & 4 WSP staff)

o Home Isolation: 208

o Hospitalized: 3

Case counts are frequently changing as new cases go through county case investigation and tracing. More information about cases, including community of residence, age, and gender, can be found on the Walla Walla County COVID website.
