Scott's Soccer Practice Bars

 


I cut this out of the back of the sugar sack, thinking I'd try it someday. Yesterday was cool enough for me to get interested in baking. I made an old fashioned rhubarb crisp with blueberries and these bars.

Since I have been cutting back or having no dessert lately, they will get frozen or shared. But I had to have a "small piece" of the bars to see if they were worth sharing and they are. I like them because they were not very sweet, a bit chewy with the oatmeal, a little bit peanut buttery, and not as chocolaty as I would have thought.
