Free Teen Rock Camp

 


Walla Walla—The Walla Walla Symphony will present the 11th annual free Rock Camp, June 24-28, 2019. Rock Camp is designed to give area teens the full experience of preparing and producing a Rock n Roll concert. Participation in the camp is completely free and includes lunch provided by the Walla Walla Parks and Recreation Department. Camp activities run from 9:00a.m.-3:00p.m. daily, with a final, free concert for the commu- nity held at Washington Park on Fri., June 28 at

5:30p.m.

Rock Camp is open to students going into grades 7– 2 and pro- vides the opportunity for campers to be coached

on their instrument of choice by local musicians while also engaging in other topics such as music recording, journalism, and Afro-Cuban drumming. Students of all levels are invited to join us and rock out for a week with the community!
