The Times - Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley

Every May the Administration for Community Living leads our nation in the observance of Older American's Month. The 2019 theme Connect, Create, Contribute, encourages older adults and their communities to connect with friends, family and services, create by engaging in activities that promote learning, health and personal enrichment and contribute time, talent and life experience to benefit others. Nancy's Garden Center, in Waitsburg, got a head start on the observance by inviting Booker Rest Home residents to choose plants and pot them, to take back to their rooms last month.
