New Curriculum

High school science textbooks that are nearly 30 years old will be replaced with a new science curriculum next year.

The Waitsburg School Board approved a 6-12 grade science curriculum purchase following a presentation by teacher Gabe Kiefel, who piloted two programs before making the final decision to go with McGraw Hill. Kiefel explained how, by piloting both programs, he actually changed his mind on what would be the best fit for Waitsburg students. The curriculum replaces some books that are nearly 30 years old.
