Fun for All During Dayton Days

Dayton was full of fun activities for all ages on Saturday during the expanded Dayton Days celebration put on by the Dayton Chamber of Commerce. The theme of the event was celebrating Dayton's western heritage. A young parade watcher goes in search of candy while the Boldman House float passes by the Columbia County Courthouse during the Dayton Days Parade.

The Happy Canyon Princesses from the Pendleton Roundup were part of the parade.

The foam tube ring toss was part of the fun at the Carnival Block Party put on by the Dayton Memorial Library on Third Street.

Two aspiring cowboys practiced their roping skills in the front lawn of the Columbia County Courthouse.

Howard Beuhler, of Dayton, demonstrated an old-fashioned reel mower to a visitor at the Boldman House museum.
