Symphony Performs Handel's "Messiah"

WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla Symphony will give two performances of Handel’s Messiah, Fri., Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m. at Central United Protestant Church (1124 Stevens Dr, Richland) and Sat., Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Walla Walla University Church (214 SW 4th St., College Place).

Conducted by Maestro Yaacov Bergman, the Walla Walla Symphony will perform with soloists Courtney Ruckman, soprano; Hannah Penn, mezzo-soprano; Daniel Buchanan, tenor; and Michael Drumheller, baritone. They will be joined by the Mid-Columbia Mastersingers (Justin Raffa, Artistic Director), prepared by chorusmaster Reginald Unterseher. Both performances are general admission.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for university/college students (with ID), and $5 for youth under 18 and can be purchased online at http://www.wwsymphony.org, by calling the Walla Walla Symphony office at 509-529-8020, or at the Symphony office at 13-1/2 E. Main, Suite 201. Tickets are also available at the door.
