This massive beam arrived last Tuesday night and took some impressive maneuvering (along with plenty of help from lookouts on the street) to make the corner from Main Street to Preston Ave. (We're not sure if this beam was for the Main Street Bridge or the Whiskey Creek Bridge, which is also under construction.)

As of this Tuesday morning, abutments and girders are in place, the waterline is installed on the north side of the bridge, and approaches are under construction. The bridge is still on track to be completed at the end of October, according to city officials.
