The Times - Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley

DAYTON - A Large Helicopter Project is planned for the Tucannon River from July 24, and will be on-going for the following 5-7 days. There will be periodic road closures during that time when the helicopter is hauling trees and boulders over the Tucannon Road. Campground 5 will also be closed to camping during that time, because it will be used as the helicopter landing pad.
