Sarah Boudrieau of Waitsburg captured this shot of her son, Colt, treasure hunting for his toys in the snow on Saturday.
Winter hit the Touchet Valley hard last week with more snowfall than has been seen in recent years. Area schools were even closed on Monday. Many people took to Facebook to share photos of beautiful, snow-covered scenery, rulers and measuring tapes with snow hitting the 9" mark, and fun times building snowmen, sledding, and snowmobiling.
