The Times - Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley

Elementary school students from Waitsburg and Prescott wrapped up their school year with a visit to the Bruce House Museum for Pioneer Day. Students learned history from Gary Lentz, sewed on buttons, played old-time games, sang songs accompanied by Krista McKinley on piano, and listed to the Bluegrass band, Switchgrass, in the museum's parlor. This is the first year that Prescott students have participated in the program.
