TCP Drops Prescott in Overtime, 61-55

 


PRESCOTT – The Prescott boys’ basketball team mounted a big comeback in the fourth quarter against Tri-Cities Prep on Jan. 26 to tie the game 50-50. But the Jaguars outscored the Tigers 11-5 in the overtime period to take the victory.

Prescott was down 25-22 at the half, and fell to an eight-point deficit at the end of the third quarter, before rallying for the tie.

Travis Crockett led the Tigers with 26 points, including four three-pointers. Jose Gonzales added 21 points, and knocked down two treys.
