Dayton Girls Win Three Games

Victories over River View, Asotin and Prescott give Lady Bulldogs a boost

DAYTON – The Dayton Girls' basketball team had a big week last week, with three victories, including a win over league rival Asotin.

On Friday night, the Lady 'Dogs hosted Asotin and came away with the win, 58-49. Dayton took a 30-21 lead into halftime and then played even with the Panthers in the second half.

"I thought we played pretty well for about 3 quarters," said Dayton Coach Clayton Strong.

Jenna Phillips led the Bulldogs with 19 points, including two three-pointers. She also pulled down 12 rebounds. Sidney Andrews had 17 points and Shayla Currin scored 12.
