WALLA WALLA – In the case of severe weather, fire, flood, toxic environmental issues, radiological events, and other emergencies, Walla Walla County residents with land lines and listed in the white pages will automatically receive an emergency notification as part of the county’s Emergency Management Citizen Alert system.
Potentially life-saving emergency information may also be sent via cell phone, email, text, fax, pager, PDA, and more. However, citizens must self register to receive notifications on devices other than their landline.
