Waitsburg Man Charged with Child Rape

Tyler Paul Judd is accused of multiple crimes, all occurring in Walla Walla

 


WALLA WALLA – Tyler Paul Judd, 32, was arrested on multiple child rape and drug charges in Walla Walla on Nov. 17. Judd lists his address as 512 W. Second St. in Waitsburg.

According to police reports, an officer observed Judd exiting a Walla Walla residence, followed closely by a fifteen-year-old girl. Judd is a registered sex offender, and the officer questioned the girl and Judd about their relationship. Both allegedly admitted to having had sexual relations on numerous occasions beginning in August of this year.

Judd allegedly said that all encounters with the girl took place at the Walla Walla residence, but that he lives with his wife in Waitsburg.

During the same interview Judd allegedly admitted to providing and using methamphetamine with the girl on several occasions.

In a separate report filed on the same day, a City Drug Unit Detective stated that Judd sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant this summer outside the same Walla Walla residence. That residence is located within 1,000 feet of a school bus stop.

Judd is charged with ten counts of rape of a child in the third degree, a Class C felony, communication with a minor for immoral purposes, a Class C felony, distribution of a controlled substance to a person under the age of 18, a Class A felony, and delivery of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school bus route stop, a Class B felony.

Judd is currently being held in the Walla Walla County Jail with bail set at $50,000.
